Choosing a machine

Which Pro Ski is right for me?

It depends on who trains and what they ride:

Not sure? Answer three questions in Help me choose, or see all eight side by side in Compare.

What’s the difference between the fixed cart and the all-in-one cart?

The fixed cart has foot pedals built in: you train in trainers, on the pure mechanical machine. It’s the simplest and least expensive way in, but it can’t be upgraded — no snowboard, no ski boots, no App or Game, now or later.

The all-in-one cart is modular. It takes one or more discipline modules — sneakers (foot pedals), snowboard deck, ski-boot bindings — has adjustable feet width, and accepts the App or Game tier. Choose it if anyone in the house snowboards, wants to train in ski boots, or might want the tech later.

Can I ski and snowboard on the same machine?

Yes, on the all-in-one cart on the Classic or Power frame. Add the snowboard module (149,00 €) next to the sneakers or ski-boot module and swap between them. The Junior has no snowboard option.

One thing to know: the App tier tracks skiing only, so a machine with the snowboard module takes the Basic or Game tier.

Can I upgrade my machine later?

If it has the all-in-one cart, yes — you can add discipline modules, poles and accessories at any time from your account or the shop.

Machines with the fixed cart (including the Classic Black) stay as they are: foot pedals and Basic, by design.

Can adults and children share one machine?

The Junior is made for children up to 145 cm and shorter adults. For a family with teenagers and adults, the Classic is the better choice — on the all-in-one cart the feet width is adjustable.

Space & set-up

How much space do I need?

Roughly the footprint of a rug, plus a little room either side for the movement. Assembled sizes:

  • Junior: 125 × 68 × 105 cm (L × W × H), 33 kg
  • Classic, Classic Black, Snowboard Trainer: 173 × 68 × 125 cm, 40 kg
  • Power Ski, Power Snowboard: 219 × 68 × 125 cm, 48 kg
  • Professional: 192 × 130 × 110 cm, 143 kg
  • SKI FIT 360: 173 × 80 × 125 cm, 45 kg

Each product page lists the exact dimensions in its spec table.

Does it need electricity?

No. Every Pro Ski is purely mechanical — elastic ropes pull the cart back to the centre, and your legs do the work. The App runs on your phone and connects over Bluetooth. The Game tier connects by USB to a Windows PC, which shows the course on a TV or projector via HDMI. The SKI FIT 360 comes with its own computer.

Can I use it in an apartment?

Yes, if you have the floor space: the machine’s footprint plus a little room either side (sizes above). It needs no power socket — only the Game tier’s PC and screen do. Place it on a flat, level floor.

Can I put it away after training?

Yes. With the transport wheels set (29,99 €) you tip the machine up and roll it into a corner. The wheels come included with the Classic Black.

What kind of floor does it need?

A flat, level floor. Wood, tiles and low-pile carpet are all fine.

Training

Does a ski simulator really train skiing?

It trains the core movement of a carved turn: the lateral weight shift, the edge change and the angulation of knees and hips. That’s what makes the first runs of the season feel easy — and what most dry training misses. The biomechanics, explained.

How often and how long should I train?

Two to three sessions a week of 20–40 minutes is enough to notice a difference within a month. Start with our 20-minute routine, or follow the six-week pre-season plan.

Is it a good workout for general fitness?

Yes — it’s a full-body, low-impact workout for legs, glutes and core. The cardio effect depends on how hard you go: up to 1,000 kcal/hour. More in health benefits.

Can I train after a knee or back injury?

Pro Ski is recommended by physiotherapists and used for knee, hip and back rehabilitation. The movement is smooth and guided, without the impact of running or jumping. But every injury is different: talk to your doctor or physiotherapist before you start, and begin with a short range and a slow tempo.

Can I train in my own ski boots?

Yes, with the ski-boot module (339,00 €) — you train in your own ski boots on the all-in-one cart. It’s the primary setup of the Power Ski and available on the Junior and Classic too.

Which training videos are there?

Every machine comes with one free training video. Four more follow-along sessions — Full Cardio, Total Power, High Cardio and Extensive Cardio — are 9,99 € each. See all training videos.

App & Game

What does the App tier include?

The App tier (+930,00 €) includes the Pro Ski App, an ankle sensor and a phone holder. The App measures turn correctness, speed and amplitude, footpad angles and left–right symmetry, and records the stats of every session. About the App.

Does the App work with the snowboard?

No — the App tracks skiing only. That’s why the App tier can’t be combined with the snowboard module. For board training, the tech option is the Game tier.

What is the Pro Game Set 360?

The Game tier (+1.000,00 €): downhill, slalom and giant slalom — plus an endless slope — on a screen, steered by your movement on the machine. It works with skis and with the snowboard deck, in ski boots or sports shoes. You need a Windows PC (the set connects by USB) and a TV or projector (HDMI). About the Game.

Can I have both the App and the Game?

No, each machine takes one tech tier: Basic, App or Game.

Which phones does the App run on?

iOS and Android. The App connects to the ankle sensor over Bluetooth, and your phone sits in the holder on the machine.

Is the App available for the Junior?

Yes — the Junior takes the Basic or App tier (not the Game). Every session gets a number to beat, which is the easiest way we know to keep children keen.

Ordering & payment

How can I pay?

By card (Visa and Mastercard), Apple Pay or Google Pay — processed securely by Stripe — or by bank transfer. You choose at checkout.

How does paying by bank transfer work?

Place your order and choose bank transfer. Your confirmation email contains our bank details and a payment reference. As soon as your payment arrives, we confirm it by email and your order ships. Please use the reference so we can match your payment quickly.

Do I need an account to order?

No, you can check out as a guest. Your order confirmation includes a link to create an account later, where you can see your order, watch your training videos and buy more.

Do you offer PayPal, instalments or financing?

No. We accept cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and bank transfer. There is no PayPal and no financing or monthly payment plan.

Do prices include VAT?

Yes, every price on the site includes VAT, and shipping within the EU is free. EU business customers with a valid VAT ID can buy without VAT — see Business & VAT.

Can I use a discount code?

Yes — enter it in the cart. One code per order.

Will I get an invoice?

Yes. Our team sends your invoice by email.

Delivery & returns

How much does shipping cost?

Nothing within the EU — shipping is free to all 27 EU countries, whatever you order.

Do you ship outside the EU?

Yes, on request — for example to Switzerland, Norway or the UK. Choose your country at checkout and send your order as an inquiry. We email you the shipping cost, and you decide whether to go ahead. There’s no online payment for non-EU orders. How it works.

How long does delivery take?

We process your order within 1–2 business days; delivery within the EU usually takes 5–7 business days. Orders paid by bank transfer ship once the payment has arrived. Delivery details.

How is the machine packed?

The Power frame ships in a box of 220 × 70 × 30 cm, about 50 kg — plan for two people to carry it. Package sizes for every machine are in the spec table on its product page.

Can I return my order?

Yes. As a consumer in the EU you can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason. Delivery & returns explains how; the model withdrawal form is in our Terms of service.

Who pays for return shipping?

You can return your order within 14 days; return shipping is paid by you.

How is my machine delivered?

We confirm your order by email, then contact you personally to arrange the delivery. Delivery details.

Business & VAT

Can my company buy without VAT?

Yes, if your company is registered in an EU country other than Slovenia and has a valid VAT ID. At checkout, switch on “Business customer” and enter your company name and VAT ID. We check it against the EU’s VIES database, and your order is invoiced without VAT under the reverse-charge rule — you account for the VAT in your own country.

Why do product pages show prices with VAT?

Because most of our customers are private buyers. The VAT deduction for business customers is applied at checkout, once your VAT ID has been checked.

We’re a company in Slovenia — what applies to us?

Enter your company details and VAT ID at checkout so they appear on your invoice. Slovenian VAT applies as normal, so you pay the price shown.

What if my VAT ID can’t be checked at checkout?

The EU’s VIES service is sometimes unavailable. Paying by card needs a confirmed VAT ID, so you can try again a little later — or choose bank transfer: we accept your order with the VAT ID as entered and verify it before we confirm your payment.

Do you work with ski schools, gyms, hotels and distributors?

Yes — from single machines for a hotel gym to the Pro Ski Class for ski schools and distribution partnerships. For business.

Warranty & service

What warranty do I get?

A 2-year warranty, directly from us as the manufacturer. Elastic ropes and wheels are wear parts and not covered. Details in our terms & conditions.

Can I buy spare parts?

Yes. Elastic rope sets for every frame (from 34,99 €), cart wheels (23,99 € for a set of 4) and more are in accessories. For other parts, contact us.

How often should I replace the elastic ropes?

Replace them if you see fraying or the resistance feels noticeably weaker. Each machine uses its own set: 6 × 1.0 m (Junior), 6 × 1.5 m (Classic frame) or 8 × 2.0 m (Power frame).

Does the machine need maintenance?

Very little. Keep the rails clean, spray them occasionally with silicone spray so the cart glides smoothly, and check the ropes and screws every few months.

Something isn’t working — what should I do?

Send us your order number, a short description and, if you can, a photo or video via the contact form. A person from our team answers.

Where are Pro Ski machines made?

Every frame, cart and module is developed and produced in Slovenia (EU), in our workshop in Maribor. About Pro Ski.
